RESEARCH SCIENTIST, DEEP LEARNING
We are looking for candidates with a proven background and deep experience in dealing with real world data in one or more of the following areas: kernel methods, deep learning, large-scale machine learning, unsupervised and semi-supervised techniques, reinforcement learning, online learning, and related areas. We are particularly interested in candidates with skills necessary to apply machine learning to address complex cognitive tasks involving natural language understanding, dialog, exam-taking, automatic text generation and summarization, understanding technical documents and behavioral learning such as recognition of and appropriate reaction to emotional states.
Position & Responsibilities
  • Use Deep Learning to optimize large-scale machine learning algorithms with thousands of parameters
  • Design algorithms that combine human & machine workers to train high quality ML models
  • This position requires expertise in acquiring, processing, analyzing and modeling of information from potentially massive amounts of structured and unstructured data.
  • You will collaborate closely with technologists and business stakeholders on the transition of your research into high value business applications.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience using deep learning in an applied setting.

  • Research experience in advanced machine learning for temporal and hierarchical domains (e.g., probabilistic graphical models, recurrent neural networks, deep learning).
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and writing proficiency as evidenced by a strong publication record.
  • The ability to think “out of the box” to combine multiple possibly unrelated solutions to solve a single complex problem.

Responsibilities

Our Healthcare data analytics team focuses on innovative ways to extract new meaningful and actionable features from (Big) data. This is a multi-disciplinary effort, involving specialists in fields ranging from computer science and statistics to social science and medicine.

You will apply your data analytics knowledge and experience in combination with your analytical and programming skills to services innovation, for example process modeling and transformation, operations and quality engineering, services systems, and/or applications, and optimization of operational aspects.

DATA INTEGRATION ENGINEER
We are currently seeking an Integration Engineer to fulfill a contract role in Palo Alto, CA. The role involves implementing integration framework and interfaces for RAPID project to achieve seamless integration for multi-modality platform.
Responsibilities
  • Individual contributor to work with engineering team to define integration framework and select vendors/tools.
  • Develop and implement interfaces within project timelines and quality standards
  • Develop and implement unit-testing scenarios simulating environmental failures and code failures
  • Participate in the execution and documentation of system testing
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development process, including architecture, design, implementation, release, and maintenance
  • Minimum travel to customer sites during installation and deployment (less than 5%)
